Tips when doing steering column pivot pin
I’m going to replace the left pivot pin on my 93. If anyone has tips let me know. My plan is to disconnect battery, take off kick plate, lower steering column down by the bolts, unscrew tilt lever, remove plastic cover in first picture, take out the switch which I’m guessing is for high beams, remove plastic cover in second picture, and then the pivot pin should be right there, I think? My plan is to order a bolt like this, screw it in, and just using a slide hammer. If anyone has suggestions let me know!!! I’ve heard on videos that the plastic cover in the second picture is prone to breaking so if anyone has a technique for removal let me know. Here’s the bolt I was gonna order

The column need to come apart- pull the wheel, hub, lock plate (you'll need a tool for that). Lock cylinder, buzzer switch and the the directional housing. Then you can pop out both
