Default L88 hood?

What do people think? It's not something I would have ever considered (and still not sure I could) but this really grabs my eye. I looked and there's just not many people doing it, only a few threads ever and very few photos. I have a Frankenstein, I could do this to that car and not feel guilty.
This is currently for sale in my area but I'd just do the mod myself but dang, I can't stop thinking about it

If it was reasonably priced, I'd snag it!!!! Perfect candidate for adding the hood vents, and it will either let some heat out or gives you options for custom fresh air from the cowl. Worst case, you decide not to use it and make a little $ on it! Go get it before someone else does👍

he's asking $650. it's for an LT1 car so I'd have clearance issues with the A/C unit on an L98 (swap works other way though). I just bought the scoop from Speedway, I'll see how it mocks up on Frankenstein

The scoop is here...now just need to get to work!!!
It's just sitting in place, it just arrived today but you get the idea. Can't wait to get this project going, been a long time since I've done body work.
