That’s never a good day. Sorry you’re dealing with this. It would probably be harder to do than just getting the body work done, but it might be cheaper to find a quarter panel from an arctic white parts car that’s in great shape. Plus no painting, color matching, blending into other panels etc. that’s the route we went on my dad’s car. The car was perfect when he bought it with 28k miles except for some gouges on the hood in front of the wheel well where the car was bumped in a parking lot. Found an excellent condition hood with perfect paint and just swapped it out.
Geez, just imagine if there was a person who could predict the weather to help us avoid situations like that....and you still have better odds flipping a coin ...
Ugh, that sucks. I've seen so many similar stories about portable garages here on this forum that I would never use one, though most of them have been about too much snow getting on them and eventually collapsing.
The bigger problem will be matching the paint. I had to have work done on my hood, and my body shop guy struggled to get the paint match correct, as the paint has faded over the last 28 years.
Mine is polo green; hopefully, white will be a bit easier to fix.
