It may flow perfectly but to me it does not look right. Looks like a person with a small Toyota shoving as much stuff from Home Depot in the truck or hatchback and trunk or hatchback is open.
Those devices also improve mpg's as the back doesn't act like an airbrake. We like to cruise down the highway with the windows down and having a smooth flow of air is great. They also help keep the car from getting so hot inside when parked in the sun, especially if you need to walk away from it with the door windows just cracked a bit.

No sideglass???
Pass side is in, drivers side no as I needed a new regulator and they were back ordered. The top is in bad shape so its only on the car in the winter so the cover fits lol.... I dont think it looks too bad.
Come on fellas. We are talking about something that holds the hatch open 2" Now if we were discussing a big ugly *** ricer wing I could understand all the hand wringing.
If you are worried about mpg's, maybe you need to get a small Toyota or how about a Tesla.
I dont worry about mpg's when I drive my vette or other cars. I just enjoy the ride and scenery.
In this case, function > form. When I put the targa brace on, hatch vent goes on too. It helps considerably with the wind noise in the cabin. Could care less about MPG.

You know, when I go to car shows and talk nice to people, I get the feedback that a lot of folks think that people that own Corvettes are a**holes. Thanks for stepping up to the plate and helping to reinforce the thought. You did a good job today !
I don't think I'll start any more threads. I just thought it was a cool find and thought I might get some feedback about it. This is the second thread in a row where it has devolved into crap. Oh well.

It is not being an *** but giving my opinion on how it does not look good.
Good find. After shopping online for one, I found the best price at Zip Corvette. It works great!
I ordered one from Zip today, as well as a couple of embroidered sun visors to replace the floppy ones I have now. Thank you rkjjeep for the inspiration. Don't give up on this forum. I've been a member for a year and I have learned quite a bit. Sure it devolves into Facebook style pissing contests but it's not too bad overall.

This thread subject wasn't about how the hatch-vent improved the looks of a C4 corvette....Previous posters are correct, quiets the drive, reduces interior temperatures, and reduces drag during open air driving. For a one-time cost of less than $50! The "look", I'd contend, is similar to a sunroof popped up in the rear, actually the more I look at the hatch vent installed the better it gets....I bought one based on pure functionality!!!.....Ironically enough, everything it does adds to your ability to "just enjoy the ride and scenery"!!! And MPGs, I prefer to get highest number I can out of every vehicle I own, if I don't have to spend more $ on gas, I can buy other things for my corvette instead! Maybe you should get a Tesla, and let it drive you around....so you can enjoy the scenery more

The Vette2Vette chassis brace, the hatch vent and the deflectors that attach to the rear view mirrors completely transformed top off driving on my ‘96. Can go all day without feeling fatigued.
