I switched my ignition barrel and got a new key cut and everything but I still don’t have a click or anything and my security is still solid when I turn my key over, wonder if yall have any suggestions to what it could be?

You have an active VATS inhibit. (The smoking-gun symptom is the SECURITY light solid ON when key is in RUN.)
You replaced the key cyl and the key, but the system still isn't recognizing the correct resistance. Is this a new problem, ie it used to run but now it doesn't, or did you purchase this car in this condition?
If the latter, do you know that the key resistance you are using is correct for the CCM? (You can't change the value from what the CCM is expecting. You have to "find" what resistance key is required.)
If it used to run and this is a new problem:
Is the 2 wire connector at the base of the steering column plugged in?
Have you measured the resistance at the connector to verify it is correct?
Do you know how to use the onboard diagnostics?
Jumper A to G at the ALDL. Turn key to RUN. Watch the speedo and fuel info area. Write down the codes including the Module number (the little single digit number), and report back. I suspect you will have a C51 in Module 1.
F - E - D - C - B - A
G -H - J - K - L - M
I purchased it last year it was running fine but since It was my daily I guess it was only matter of time for the vats to kick my ***? I changed the ignition cylinder and checked the resistance before hand to get the correct cylinder and key but I still got the solid security light. I checked the obd and got code 46 (injectors not getting the go ahead to pulse) is that different from jumping A to G?

you changed the cylinder because you thought the vats would go bad?

No, I ended up changing it because I was getting stuck wherever I ended up turning the car off, and eventually it wouldn’t even crank so I thought it was probably the cylinder not reading the pellet so I tried cleaning the pellet contact etc. and thought to switch the ignition cylinder and get a couple new keys instead.
It is different than jumping A&G, but ECM Code 46 is also a smoking gun VATS code. A&G queries the CCM, but Codes for both the CCM (Module 1) and the ECM (Module 4) are displayed on the LCD center display.
Ahh I see, how should I clear the code or what’s the solution to the vats? This is my first corvette that I’ve owned.
