I have a greenwood kit on my 87 and have noticed that the part of the kit that sits below the front bumper gets a lot of dings. I have just recently had the entire car repainted and want to avoid the dings. Cleartastic says they do not make anything for the front of a vette, let alone a greenwood kit, only behind the tires and such. Looking for ideas to protect my new paint. No bras.
Get lots of wax on it and don't follow too close? I know, people will pass and pull right in front of you. :mad Why not pickup up a couple of Cleartastic kits and cut them to pieces that will fit the spoiler? It sounds like a pain, but it's all I can think of. Maybe Greenwood could strike a deal with Cleartastic?
I was looking into getting some "cleartastic" type material to make my own pieces last summer but never got around to it. This is what I did find out. 3M does make this stuff. You should be able to order it fom an autparts store. If I remember correctly it came in large roll that would have provided me with enough material to do about 20 cars. The cost was about $25-$50 per roll. I'll search around for the 3M part # when I get home.

I was thinking of that, but I guess I need to find the dimensions of the different kits first.
