My 92LT1 is a bit to low for my garage path which has a quite steep slope (exactly 12°), as a matter of fact I have to do some annoying maneuvers when I drive my garage in it in order to avoid scratching the undercarriage...
Do you know if it is possible to get the car a little higher, maybe 1 cm, so that I can put it in my garage normally ?
My dad had the same problem with his camaro. What he did was rough up the area that enters the garage and made small concrete pads, one on each side. This lifted the car just enough to clear the entrance. This will only work if the driveway is concrete. If not there is probably and paving contractor who could add material to lessen the slope a bit, this shouldn't cost that much. Hope this will help. I think adjusting the path to the garage is a better bet than trying to alter your car. Hope this helps
you could buy some titanium "bumbers"to mount to your frame to protect it from damage.
I saw this on TRUCKS a week ago.
They are used by ricers to protect thier undercarriages when they slam thier vehicles while driving. They also put out a lot of sparks. :skep:
