Glowing red pre converter

Default Glowing red pre converter
Hi, my driver side pre converter on my 1990 has been glowing red after I drive it, (well the pipes right before and after it) the passenger side is fine so I’m wondering what would cause this, maybe it’s clogged I just don’t know why the passenger side would be good and not the drivers side. Thanks!
