Just got back froming washing my car while at the wash I turned on yhe wipers and they would not work.Turned them to high position and they worked turned them off then back on now they do not work. When in the high position they will come out about 3 inches and back down continously.
Ok, that makes three of us having the same problem.. I think you'll find the switch is ok.. There are two plugs on the motor. As you look at the wiper motor from the front, pull off the connector on the right side of the motor and be sure it's clean and dry. When i moved the connector, mine began to work..It it was over 25 degrees outside, I would have gone further with it.
I had the same problem. If you look in the factory manual there's a chart with common problems and most likely causes. The most probable cause for "wipers cycle in and out of park position" is a faulty park switch. This is a small part inside the motor itself, and it's easy to change. Mine would only work on high, and then would only cycle in and out of park. They'd only go up a few inches and come back down. I replaced the park switch and it fixed the problem. I got mine from http://www.tld-corvette.com for $37.
