I believe in this case you could rely on the published BBB public notations.
I believe it would benefit you to post year, make, model, ECM part # you believe is faulty and of course your location. I hadn't ever heard of G7 until you posted but if they were 'local' to you where you could have a 'toe to toe' conversation with them then maybe reason to maybe consider them?
