Ken, you know that if you got that Jeanne would just steal it away from you too....well, maybe not with it being a stick, maybe LOUD mufflers on it and shed stay away? Wait, I know...take away the vanity mirrors....(am I asking for it or what) :blueangel:
Now you must know that I would see this? and yes my dear boy you are asking for it. I must however set you staight.
#1 I can drive a stick shift just as good as any man.
#2 Loud? you think I don't like loud? Now wouldn't it stand to reason that I would draw more attention to Myself with a loud muffler? and being the VAIN creature that I am I would LIKE that? hmm??
#3 and lastly.....how did you know about the vanity mirrors? just an educated guess I suppose :jester :jester
Well ya got 1 out of 3...that aint bad.
Jeanne

Re: Are C5 prices teasing you? (countrygirl)
Yes I am very tempted. I've seen some 98-00 for around 28K but I have to get my wife out of law school first. I am sure I will trade up in a couple of years.

I know you would because I would do the exact same thing in your place. I was never lucky enuff to have a wife with common sense when I was married. She always wanted practical cars with 4 doors and puh-lenty of room for the kids. We almost bought a *gagging noises* station wagon one time....if I do the "M* thing again it will be to a lady that already has her own vette so I wont have to jump thru any hoops. :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: :blueangel: (and also so I dont have to share my vette) :steering:

No, not when you can have this for 33K

We are the 2nd owner (since its been a 415...3rd overall).
Actually, I sold my '93 Vert to buy a 2002 Z06, however, I came across my '93 ZR-1 and could not resist. So now, I guess I will wait for the C06 or may even consider a Viper GTS if the price is right.
No, they are not tempting at all in my corner of the world ;) The '97's are starting at $60K and newer ones (still second hand) go all the way up to $99K!!
Yeah, crazy I know. New C5 is about $115K in Finland. So no temptations here ;) (I do prefer C4's over C5's anyway so no problem)
I've been tracking every 1999 and 2000 vert on Ebay since the first of the year. Very few are are hitting the reserve price and selling. My daughter wants me to get a C5 so I don't have to borrow "her" C4 to drive to work. I need to make the move before me and the missus leave for the June pilgramage to Mecca. You sure can pack more luggage into a C5 vert than this C4 coupe (especially if you ever want to ride with the top off.) I gotta sell my F-150, get my tax refund, and I'm there.
