Ya' I'd like to pickup a 01' Z06, as once GM upped the HP to 405 the 01's took a price nose dive. There's one on ebay for $39K "Buy It Now" everytime I see one it makes me consider selling my 95'... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6168
I am tempted. You can now get a nice C5 for 22 to 26 K. No need to spend over 30K anymore. Check out ART's Corvettes in Bowling Green across from the museum and you will see what I mean.
I much rather supercharge my C4, and make WAY more horsepower than the c5, and keep the great styling. I love my C4 to death and won't give it up unless it was a brand new ZO6. First I'm gonna make serios power with my C4, then put on Y2K's and then you gotta better looking car with way more power :o) IMO ( not like that matters ).
My wife is pushing for a C5 coupe that will be her daily driver. My '94 'vert is a weekend car that just doesn't have the luggage space for trips. Looked at a Mag red '00, both tops, 6 spd. No HUD, with 13500 miles for 30K. I may come off the dime and buy it for her, but; I am keeping mine. I would rather purchase a C1, '58-60. C5 pricing will only continue to get better

Re: Are C5 prices teasing you? (Glasman66)
Yes, Im thinking about a C5 AT vert as a daily driver for work. Id keep the C4 MT for weekends doing the mtn twisty turnies of course. But Ill most likely wait till the C6 is out and C5 prices have really tanked :blueangel:

Ken, you know that if you got that Jeanne would just steal it away from you too....well, maybe not with it being a stick, maybe LOUD mufflers on it and shed stay away? Wait, I know...take away the vanity mirrors....(am I asking for it or what) :blueangel:
Yep, I've seen a few 98-99 ones for around 25K. My C4 is getting old, everytime I fix it it something else breaks, the ride is hard and it's near useless in the rain. Looking forward to something a little smoother.
Figure I'll get about 5K trade-in on my 86. Just trying to find the right MT C5.
