Yep, sitting old one (came with) beside new physically same. Just old one is not shiny gloss black. I would say a satin finish at least and possibly a variant of charcoal rather than pure black. I have color blind issues but even I can tell different.

so I removed the new one and carried them both out in the sunshine (74 degrees here today, 50 tomorrow) and now I am not so sure they are not the same. Are they the same just two different mfg dates? Opinions?
old on left, camera angle makes it look smaller but same size
