My schedule changed and had time to put those in tonight after all. Words fail me! Thought I had searchlights on the car - and then I hit the high beams! It's more than impressive. I do have the issue mentioned above of high beam indicator coming on with fog lights but I'll get to that soon enough.
My thanks to OP and to all those who added advice. If anybody is on the fence, my 2 cents is go for it. Less than $100 for the bulbs themselves and even after buying the jumpers it's still reasonable.
@Railroadman (fellow friend of Steve McVay I also installed the like night and day Novsights. So that i understand correctly, you plugged and played the HW Star 2022's by themselves -and- you have Hi and Lo beams operating properly? Or did you also add the D-Lumina H4 9003 LED Canbus Decoder Harness?
Thinking i'm buying a set, currently $59 on Amazon.
Ps. Oh... i just noticed you said you have the high beam indicator coming on with fog lights.... So i take it you'll purchase the canbus decoder pair?

Yes Steve, the high beam indicator does come on when I hit the fog light switch. The installation was squeezed in when our schedule changed (had planned on being out at the shop working on the C-2) and I got done about 11PM. Only had enough time (and energy) to take a ride around the block to try them out. I didn't pay TOO much attention as those decoders are said to cure exactly that issue. The order will go in today.
Also got to figure where to check the aim. Our driveway at home is uphill leading to the garage door, and the one out at the shop is downhill. But that's for another day.
I think you'll be happy with them. I did not order the "decoders" yet, we'll be out at the shop for a couple days unless things change. It's supposed to rain a lot, will order them Thursday night . So you may be ahead of me on that.
I've been running Holley Retrobrights in the warmer color for a few months and they are very nice to have. So much better than the stock lights. The lows have a good cutoff to keep them out of oncoming traffic's eyes (even though their own crazy bright LEDs blind me every time) and the highs really blast a wash of light over everything.
My running/fog lights don't work but the headlight controls and indicators function normally and even if I never worked out a fix, it'd be an agreeable tradeoff.

@Railroadman Dan, i tried pm'ing ou but got the message your mailbox is full...
I went with cheap eBay LED projectors for my 94. Working great. Then to fix the fog light issue, I used the wiring fix there's somewhere on this site. I did a removal mod with an extension harness so it can be removed and brought back to factory. I used loom and zip tied the light to the wiring so it's very compact. I'm sure there are plug and play solutions out there. This was about $8 all in.
