Sequential shift gear box levers, why so long?
1. I want to know what gearbox and clutch setup handles that kind of power
2. why are the handles to sequential shift gearboxes so tall ?
is it kind of like a ‘mine is longer than yours kind of thing’?
i remember 20 yrs ago’ ‘short’ gearshift levers were the thing
seems uncomfortable to use if usually your elbow is on the on rest and constantly reaching up to yank the lever fore or aft

The shift levers are tall so your hand is closer to the steering wheel, allowing you to get your hand back on the wheel more quickly. Most road race and rally cars with sequentials do it this way too (if they don't use paddle shifters).
