Default 1984 vs 2003 entry/exit difference?

I had a 2003 but had to sell due to back pain entering and exiting. Loved driving it hated getting in and out.
I found a 1984, which I always liked that model, for a good price. My concern is if it has the same entry/exit issues as the '03.
The seats don't appear as low, but that may be camera angle.
So can anyone comment on this?
Thanks.

Most opinions claim a C4 is more difficult than a C5. If you're having problems with a C5 I don't think you will find the C4 easier. Id definitely try one in person.

Ive owned every generation from C2 to C8 and have found none of them to have easy ingress/egress but they all became easier after I practiced a technique unique to that vehicle. There is a you tube video demonstrating how to enter/exit a C4.

C4 corvette has a very high “lip” to get over when getting in and out of the car

The 84 that I have is not terrible tonget in and out of. It has the base leather seats and I feel as though its not that bad to get in or out of. Now my 93 has the sport seats and the large bolsters make getting in and out of a lot more challenging. I've driven a few C5's and I feel as though they are easier to get in and out of over a C4. With that said, I've always loved the C4's interior and how you feel sitting down into the car. The C5 isn't bad, but I prefer the C4. I see you're in Erie. Im maybe just under 2 hours from you in Ohio. You're always welcome to swing by and sit in my 84 and take it fro a drive to see if its a car you can live with getting in and out of.

Thanks for the responses. A local dealer has an (overpriced) '84, I'll go and try it out.
Thanks mazdaverx7 for the offer.

How easy it is to get in and out just might be based on your age. I'm 78 and have a 96 and yes it hard to get in/out of, but its worth the struggle. BTW, this is my forth vette over the years and yes I'm a gearhead. Randy

I have had C4's and C5's.

Most people find the C5's to be easier to get in and out of.

However for me it is the C4's that is easier. I put my right leg in and then use the high sill to sit on before putting the other leg in and sliding into the seat.

You need to try a couple techniques to see if it is right for you.
