Corvette security system???
I was removing the radio from my 85' and found a small red led mounted to the bracket, and am wondering did the C4's come with a security system installed or is this the doing of the previous owner.?

Nothing like that from the factory on a 1985 Corvette.
They did have factory security, but not any type of LED like you found.

I had a 1989, and replaced the radio, and never saw any light taped into wires, some one installed, something.
