Dumb obvious question first... Did you get the right one for your year?

Loosen all of the bolts. That should let everything move just slightly.

Morning, guys.
@FAUEE yes, I actually had this sitting in the garage for years. It was on my 93 before.
@2011KLR Thank you, I'll give that a try.

For whatever reason, I couldn't get it lined up. It was easier to remove and install the crank hub.
I'll try again next weekend.

Do you have a electric water pump?

No. That said, I'm not talking about the "cross brace". Which as you know, goes in the engine bay.

Had to do a bit of moving the pieces around to line it all up. The weird position your body is at, is what makes it hard.

Looks great though!
One of these days I want to replace my Arizona Speed bar. Shame they don't make that anymore (I think?)

Thank you! Yeah, I like the looks as well. And I believe you're correct.

Not that my car had many squeaks/rattles, but this bar slightly does decrease them.
Might just be placebo, but, thought I'd mention it.

My 93 as I bought new and still have is a nightmare removing top. The first time nothing lined up. Called Kilebrew at the tech center told me go To dealer said we will have to stand on your seats and you are better off once you get it on to leave it on which I have since 93. The first time top was removed on level ground and I drove it down the street the car creaked, crackled and popped noises. The whole body moved not the convertible because it had a x frame. I wish I was aware of your brace
