In my last and current C4 I just used a regular battery and with most batteries being produced by only a few manufactures just get one with the best warrantee and at least 700cca
Do you know that you need to change it? I had to clean mine up due to corrosion from a battery explosion some time in the past. Sometimes just a contact surface cleaning is all they need.
I use AGM batteries in my C4's. They seem to work well amd have given me near zero issues over the last few years. Now if I leave the cars sit for an extended period of time, they do get drawn down and go dead. I charge them back up and they're good to go once again!

on my cherokee trailhawk, the ground is a good source of electrical problem. Could cause all kinds of cel.
Even if its a little corroded, its a good idea to get it changed. Figured for the vette it wouldnt hurt to change it.

I use flooded from Costco or Walmart. Id def clean the ground connection and if it looks bad Id replace it. Id also clean the connections at the starter.
I keep all my occasionally used vehicles on chargers.
Interstate Battery from Costco. I looked into the Red Top and Yellow Top and decided it wasn't worth the money for me. I'm sure they are fine batteries, but I'm not trying to start the QE2.
