Seat belts
Hey all,
Has anyone experienced the annoying seat belt lock up on your c4 with minimal cornering? Mine is a 1996.
If I turn a corner with .25g, it'll lock up on me and tries to cut me in half at the waist, 😂. It won't let go unless I unbuckle and let it retract completely.
Is there a fix for this?

Back in the day there was safety recall to replace seat belts, still active recall since it's safety but problem is there is no parts?

A recall? I'm going to check that out! Thanks!
Just checked and no safety recall that I can see.
Hmmm.
It makes it difficult to drive the car spiritedly

Or just deal with it?
Man it's terrible. I was thinking of 3d printing something that holds the belt.

Have a look inside cover. Loose change was my problem. The belt must be a ramp to get in ??

FYI: The seatbelt safety campaign was for specific 1984-1991 MY cars. The OP has a 1996, so he is excluded.
The campaign numbers were 91C25 (Right side) and 91C26 (Left side)

No. It was both.
The NHTSA Safety Recall campaign # ID is
91V143000 issued on 09/30/1991.
