Re: convertable or coupe (GS Diva)
Finally convinced my wife that a Vette was a good idea. She had one requirement, "it's got to be a convertible". She didn't have to tell me twice.

Re: convertable or coupe (myscx)
Drop-Top buddy :yesnod: Better resale value and "Floss appeal". Get a roadster so you can go topless :jester . I like coupes as well, but I have a buddy who once had a coupe- C4( he now has a C5 roadster). Here is the short story. He would always clean his car up and hang out at the local watering hole. Well, every time me and another buddy with roadsers would show up, we always stole his thunder. That why he has a drop top today  :blueangel:

Re: convertable or coupe (myscx)
Coupe - I like the "quietness" of highway cruising with the cabin sealed, but then I also like opening the top of nice days.

I had a '93 40th Ruby Convert w/auto
Now have a '93 40th Ruby Coupe w/6spd
The coupe is the way to go - the other package was like an airplane without wings.

Yeap " was like an airplane without wings"... that would be defined as a Rocket :jester . The Roadster are given weak gears 2:59 or 2:73's from the factory. but with a Torque converter and a 3:73. ROCKET
As far as super quiet cabin noise. you can alway get a hardtop. The coupes cannot go conv at any time. I Love all VETTE's , I just think the conv is more versatile.
PS. The coupes HAVE BETTER STORAGE. IF you need space Get a coupe!
