is there any big quality difference between 40 series, 50 series, and the force II catback system? thanks in advance.
I think the quality between all their mufflers is probably the same. The differences are that the 40 seriess are a 2 chamber muffler and the 50 series a 3 chamber.................translation 50 series sounds nice and 40 series roars :reddevil
deltaflows are 8db quieter than the normal ones, its a little deflector they have inside, they say it gives more power and better MPG (yeah right  ) stick with non-delta.
ok...so ill go with the 40s. do they sell a y-pipe that fits directly onto our cat converter and then will work with the 40s?
You should be able to find a 40 series that will fit your stock 2.25" y-pipe. I chose to upgrade my front and rear y-pipes to 2.5" when I had mine put on. If you go the stock pipe route you'll just need to make sure you get a muffler with a 2.25 offset/inlet and a 2.25 center/outlet. You'll probably need a muffler shop to weld everything up for you. The 40 series mufflers sound great, but one thing to be aware of before you put them on is that you will have a good deal of interior resonance, so if that bothers you it may be best to chose a different muffler.
