Hi everyone. The season here is changing for the better and it's time to lower the car. I've gotten lots of great help and will probably order a kit from CC or MAD very soon. My question is that I have a ground kit on my car which is very low as it is. I also have 17" wheels with low profile tires. Anyone know after the lowering (I expect an inch or so) how much ground clearance I will have? This may sound like a stupid question but the car is still on stands from winter storage and I never measured the existing clearance. If anyone has any measurements with a ground kit from the door skirt to the ground I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
If you are doing wedges in the front, you'll go down an inch. If you cut the rubber bump-stops, you'll go down another inch.
The rear bolts are adjustable from 0-3" drop.
All ground effects are different. You are going to have to get the car down from the lift and measure. That is the only way to be certain that you aren't getting yourself into trouble.
