A previous owner of my '94 screwed up the clip in the console piece that goes around the Radio/AC/etc... :mad It looks like they tried to force it in and bent it. When I tried to straighten it back out it broke off. :(
Is it possible to get a new clip or do I have to buy a new console piece?
Howdy! Not sure what part you mean. But I'd go to Ebay. There are fellers parting vettes out all the time. They say just email and ask and they'll sell it. That's what I do when I need some little part and don't want to hunt or pay big for it.

:iagree: Do you have a picture of the part? or some other description of it?
Wish I had taken a picture when it was off the other day.
Basically, it's the console cover piece that goes around the radio, AC, diagnostic lights and the trip/odometer/fuel buttons. On a '94 it has 3 screws holding it in. One behind the air vents and two at the bottom covered up by the shifter console. There is also a metal clip that is just to the left of the AC controls and below the trip/odometer/fuel buttons. It helps "clip" the console cover into place. It's broken on mine.
I know actually which part you are talking about. Call Jeff Kopp (or whoever took over for him) and tell him your a forum member and what you need. He should be able to hook you up. 1-800-728-8267
Chris, I bought a new radio bezel and it did NOT come with the clips. :cuss
I was able to salvage one of them from my old one and I fabricated the other using a rubber coated "coat hanger" that I cut up and bent in half. Hey, it worked!
