Windshield clarity question
I mentioned this in a previous posting and one of the responses was "your windshield is probably pitted" or something similar to that. However, I have carefully examined this thing and it sure doesn't show any signs of pitting to me.
The problem is that the window "pixilates" when you look through the left 1/3 or so. Its fine in the middle and on the passenger side. It almost looks like it has an oil coating or something you are looking through. I have cleaned it inside and out and it remains. Any ideas what this is and how to fix it? The car hasn't been in the West or anything where sand or debris would have been an issue. I will replace it if I have to, but would like to exhaust any other possibilities first.
