Default It's been 12 years...

Well it's been 12 years or so from the last post.

I bought a 1992 Coupe LT-1 one month ago today. She has been a dream so far and was thinking about naming her. Reading through previous posts, I have seen a lot of good names. Any additional ideas would be appreciated..

Background: Right after the first "Lord of the Rings" movie came out, a racer buddy referred to my '57 as "More Door" - a mix of "4-door" and "Mordor". A couple of years ago, my son got a white 2001 S10 Blazer and started calling it "Gandalf the White" (Gandalf for short).

Last year when I got the Vette, the name that stuck was "Strider".

The day it came home, billeted next to More Door:

(The white truck in the background isn't Gandalf, that's our 1995 diesel Silverado, "Vin"...)

I named my car Serenity. Too often I find myself asking, "What was that?" as something either falls off or I hear something I haven't heard before. Or another flashing light pops up. Or...

I call my 85, "my 85 (corvette)," and my 90, "my 90 (corvette)" - - although, sometimes I call my 85, "my silver corvette," and sometimes my 90, "my white corvette." but, then again, sometimes, I call my 85, "my silver 85," and sometimes, my 90, I call it "my white 90!" - this thread reminds me too much of that dumb insurance commercial, where the young woman, says, "...you named your car Brad. you loved Brad. you've been with Brad through two boyfriends and three jobs. then, you totaled Brad."

sorry, I don't get the whole "name your corvette" thing -
