Alternator question
When replacing the alternator on my 1990 I ran into a problem with the lower mounting bolt. How do you remove it? It seems too long and it hits the fluid resevoir. Is there a trick to removing it?

I remember the same thing happening and ultimately I think I moved the resevoir (by pushing it with my finger) just enough for the bolt to clear. Wait for others to chime in though since it's been a couple of years and I don't have my Manual here at work. I'll look it up when I get home and post if you haven't gotten an answer by then.

I did remove one of the bolts for the resevoir to make it a little easier to move out of the way
