Re: Do you use your passive keyless entry? (_Nomad_)
I don't like my car doors unlocking automaticaly when I get within 100 ft. or so of it. I prefer to unlock it myself when I want it unlocked.
:iagree: I wish it was a real keyless entry system, or at least give you the option to use it that way. With pke off you can still lock/unlock the passenger side but not the driver side? GM what were you thinking?
Re: Do you use your passive keyless entry? (R94 LT 1)
how do you disable it temp?
PKE. With the key out of the ignition, you hold down the door button till the locks cycle once. If you like, you can confirm it's disarmed by making sure the Passive Active light in the lower left corner of the DIC is off when you turn the key to the on position. Reverse procedure to turn it back on.
That's all I do when I know I'm going to clean or work on it.

I love to hear that honk as i walk away. one thing, i was sitting in the car with the key in the excessary position with the radio on and doors closed and THEY LOCKED. I didn't think that the doors would lock as long as the key was in the ignition.

:skep: Must have been pulled out just a hair. I love mine, by the way. When people ask how it unlocked by itself, I say it knows me. :lolg:
