I had thought a while ago you had ordered a rollcage and some N20 for your beautiful Grand Sport with hopes of building a 406 stroker in the future. Perhaps i am getting you mixed up with somebody else but if that is indeed you then i would like to know how that is all going for you
Here are pics of the rollbar. It's a Doug Rippie rollbar and I had it bead-blasted and powder-coated admiral blue.
The Nitrous deal fell through due to lack of all the parts. (see other thread).
Mrs. Patrick96LT4 pulled the plug on my $15k dream motor when our biggest client filed for bankruptcy and screwed us out of a sickening amount of money (whatever you are thinking, add another zero to it). In fact, it was such a painful situation I came a hair from NEEDING to sell the GS to put food on the table. http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/phot.../1DSCF0007.JPG
WOW i had no idea. i missed the post about the nitrous not working out and I am severly sorry to hear about the client. i wish there was something i could do. All i can say is keep the dream alive. You are probably one of the smartest guys on this board and i respect anything you say in answer to my questons. I would love o hear more about the motor you had in mind though. what kind of power you are looking at what kind of cam if you are planning on using the stock block( i hope so). If you dont mind i would love to know more about it. I am planning a project very simalar to this in the future(probably more distant than near but still planning) Thanks in advance man. and good luck!
Patrick - sorry to hear about the business disaster... that super sucks.
Is business picking up???
Not really. The economy is still crap. So, I invested in a telemarketer and another client manager, and things are starting to look promising. But sales this year are down 60% !!!

I was going to go with a 406 CID "Torquer 460" Engine-Comp Cams 286 hyd. cam, 5.7" Super Stock steel rods, CNC AFR alum. cyl. heads ... roughly 460 HP. I was going to have American Speed do the work, they aren't too far from where I live. http://www.amerspeed.com/
