Default AC Question

I am posting this for a friend of mine. He has a 95 vette that has the electronic AC. He tells me that when the air comes on all he get is air from the defrost and the floor. What could be the problem here guys. Thanks for any help. If I need more details let me know and I will ask more questions.

if the head unit (c68) is working - no blinking lights - then it is a problem related to the programmer located under the dash by the right leg. this is vacuum operated, so it could be a broken fitting/hose anywhere in the vacuum system. one suspect, often read about here, is a T fitting located on top of the engine near the back of the heads under/around the fuel rail, not sure which side.

Do a search, Many post here last year about this switch above the right foot under the dash. Have the same problem with my 96. It started with a delay on the cold air from the dash outlets and now blows at the defrost and floor untill about 10 minutes later, then cold air flows from the dash vents untill the motor is shut down. Now the process starts up again; waiting 10 minutes for cold air in the face. Guess I should order and install a new AC switch, think the cost is about 250 dollars.
