ok i have a 84. and i have a system in it wiht 2 10s and i want to add one or two more, and my dad is telling me that the subs will crack the fiberglass. is this true, i have no idea i called most sound and audio places and they said that it would never do that, but i thougth i ask you guys, so what do you think would the fiberglass crack with that power or would it be ok. thanks for all the help :seeya
What is your dad smoking? I make custom sub boxes for people out of fiberglass! Fiberglass is very, very strong. The last thing you should be worrying about is the body cracking.
Ask him why it doesn't crack when you're turning quickly, or when you're cresting a hill. The top and the hood are under extremely high stress during those conditions. Fiberglass is extremely strong.
Please....maybe I'm stupid.....but what is your question???????
You lost me.....sub's.....what sub's...
Sorry just trying to understand your question.....
thanks
