Years before RAIN-X came out, I discovered that putting Armor-All on the wiper blades would deposit a thin film on the windshield which would make rain bead off like crazy. One application would last seemingly forever.
I tried R-X on a different car and, except for the R-X turning my fingers yellow, the results were the same.
So, Armor-All keeps the blades in good shape and the glass shedding rain.

It' attracks dirt on your window, and makes squicky sounds after awhile. I used it once and never used it again. :nonod:

I use it, keeps me from having to run the wipers until a downpour starts.

I use it all the time, hardly ever have to turn on my wipers. Never had a problem with collecting dirt, but I wash my cars frequently. :yesnod:

:iagree:
The key to the inital application is a super clean w/shield. If applied correctly
Rainx works very well.

Seriously, I drove once for 3 hrs on the highway and never had to use wipers due to the aerodynamics

That's what I do.
I don't know if its just with some of the early C4's, but rain-x can cause blade chatter and wiper collisions. Is that true?

Use all the time on all cars, even use it on all the planes I fly..wipers don't do as well at 200 MPH, as you'd think. RX is the greatest invention since the sanitary napkin.

I tried it running Pocono in the heavy rain this weekend. My blades chattered badly, and caused colisions. My widshield has a scratch in it now because the wiper fliped upside down at 130. It didn't work at all for me, and I put it on a clean and dry window.
