C4 PKE programming

I have a used PKE coming from ebay and I don't have the owners manual.
I DONT want it to open when I get close, I want to program it to only open and lock when I push the button. How do I do this?

actually the pke only has the option to unlock when close, or not on at all, their is no way to make it function as a normal keyless.

the PKE sets and resets every 5 seconds when I am installing or removing the car cover, honking the horn each time. It is driving me crazy. Can this be adjusted to only set when I am 20 feet from the car?

Press and hold the door button when in range. It'll cycle through the and keep them from locking and unlocking. :cheers:

To arm it again, hold the door lock on your PKE fob for 2 seconds till door lock cycles.

The fact that you can't use it as a "normal" key fob (meaning, the lock/unlock button on the FOB doesn't do anything) when the PKE is off is the one thing I don't like about it.

Overall, I think I'm finally getting used to it!

Oh my God, my PKE annoys me to no end. Beep/lock/Beep/lock/Beep/Lock. I'm only getting the damn LAWN MOWER OUT, shut up already!!!

My neighbor's dont hate my alarm, they just think I'm fried for yelling at a horn!!
