my tail light on my 84 has been out for a while. and i gotta change it. and i heard it was a b**** to do. so how do you do it, and is it easy. im going tom. morn to get my tires put on and sould i ask one of the guys to do it for me, or am i better off doing it myself.
i heard that you gotta get under the car and reach up  do you
if its a inner light, just reach through the license plate hole.
if its an outer light... hope you have skinny arms.
i tried reaching up from the bottom.. thats near impossible i think.
and having a small socket and ratchet are best.. (don't know how else you'd go about doing it.)
Cory, I think you can also go in from the top, by removing the shroud from around the gas tank filler neck. The only other way other than all those mentioned above is to remove the whole bumper, but however you do it, it aint gonna be fun. A word of advice....replace the burned out bulb(s) with long life bulbs. A little more costly, but worth it in the long run.
