I'm taking it you don't have one? (didn't vote?) If you're not sure what we're talking about, there's pics above. You wouldn't be the first not to know there is (or is suppose to be) a shade back there.
Wow. 129 views and only 10 votes. Wonder how many didn't even realize there was a shade back there? :jester
:bb :bb :bb :bb That would be me , I discovered mine about 2 months ago while clean the hatch. Saw this handle, pulled on it and out comes the shade. :bb

I have two on my '95. I wouldn't have known there was one underneath unless I saw this post. Very cool, however, with the handle on the top I'm not sure I'd ever use the one on the underside, to me it almost seemed hard to reach?
1985 - Two handles. I've brought this up to some very Corvette knowledgable people before and always got a blank stare. Most couldn't even imagine what I was talking about. I'd just have to show 'em. Seems that most people have never even noticed this double-handle.
I have yet to discover *WHY* the factory did this.
I even posted a picture of the handles on this page (middle of page) about 4 years ago in the hopes that somebody could explain it:
From all the posts and the wide span of model years with two, I'm taking it they were suppose to have two from the factory and those with one/or none have just had them broken off.
