I have factory sawblades on my 92. I think they would look good polished (not chrome). Does anyone know of a company that could strip the silver and polish the rims?
There is a company in Glendale, CA that does just that kind of work. If you call Team Chevrolet (Pasadena, CA) and ask for the body shop, they can give you the phone number. They did two of mine and looked beautiful! Their # is: 626-449-3333.
I've heard a few times that the 91 and 92 wheels do not polish real well since they were to be painted and the aluminum under the paint is rather rough. the later sawblades that have the machined finish would probably polish up much better and they can be found in the for sale section at good prices :smash:

:iagree: very much true which is why i bought 96 rims.
These are '91 sawblades I polished myself. Your smart in getting someone else to do it because it's a TON of work. I have one more rear to polish for an extra drag radial set and it won't bother me if I never polish another '91-92 style sawblade - ever again.
