Hard top or Convertible?
If I bought a convertible vette, would I still be able to have a hard top? I've seen some cars with "Auxiliary Hard tops." Would I be able to purchase something like that from some place?
:)

Sure, you can still buy a hardtop for your convertible. Makes it look like a Z06... They run about $1000.

:yesnod:
But keep in mind that it isn't something you can take off or put on in a snap. It requires 14 bolts and 2 brackets to bolt it on. Once it is bolted on, it transforms the car into a quiet, rigid car. The top adds a ton of stiffness to the chasis.

Just be sure you have a place to store it when it's not on the car. I love my hardtop when it's on, but it takes up most of the guest bedroom right now!

Re: Hard top or Convertible? (jetlag)
If I could go back some years....I would certainly buy a convert......They are just so cool    ....I had a '69 with both tops....and loved the hardtop on....
Such is life......
Now I'm stuck with a lowly '84.......
I will make the best of it....but new buyers beware.....get what you really want!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Luck

Those hardtops look great. You can buy them aftermarket, or stock if you can find one for sale. They can get somewhat pricey.

they are on ebay all the time. the gm top is the one to get. the back window does not look good on the other tops.
