I wish folks would stop making generalizations about people they don't even know.
I may not know the driver, but I know when he/she waves and the majority don't. It's just a fact.
Hopefully the trend is heading in the 'wave' direction on their part. My guess is that the second- and third-owner C5s will start waving. Then they can start complaining about the no-wave C6's....just like we whine about the C5s now!

The wave is growing...
I got my Flowmasters (40 series) put on Saturday so any excuse to drive the Vette works for me. So Sunday evening I take the wife out to dinner. We pulled into the parking lot of a great lil Mexican place and there sits a red C5. I parked my red C4 right next to it and I was thinking this guy is probably a jerk...doesn't wave. We walked in the door and I looked around. There was a couple at a table and he was looking right straight at me and as soon as we made eye contact he waved. How cool is that?! I smiled and waved back and my wife asked if I knew him? I said no but he drives that other Vette out there. She looked up at me and asked if you don't know him, how do you know that's his car?...I just know, baby, I just know. We were seated and a lil later as he and his wife stood to leave I tossed a "so long" wave back at him.
Gotta love the :seeya and the comraderie!
