I would NOT do it. Your stock front wheels are 8 1/2" x17 ( rear are 9 1/2") and ALL tire manufacturers recommend AGAINST ( mounting 275 or 285 tire on 8 1/2" wheel) it. Sure you can get the tire on the wheel and I am sure there are some members who are running it but if wear and safety mean anything - then don't. There is a 95 Corvette here locally that has 285 x40 x17 tires mounted on both the 8 1/2 and 9 1/2" (OK) wheels with the wider wheels mounted up front and reversed direction of rotation. Triple proof they did not know what they were doing. If you what you can not know what you are doing too. : ) I wanted 275 all around and bought two 9 1/2" wheels for the front.
