I just saw an lt5 that was red on top and the valve covers were black, looked really nice, then again, what lt5 doesnt?

Jeff, would you describe again what you did to get that finish? Specifically, any smoothing of the LT5 finish texture? what paint? or powder coat?

And by the way, I have always really liked the shiney (stainless?) hex fastners. I really hate the black anodized torx fasteners, especially as they age.
