I use STP brand. Its the cheapest, last a week or so, and no buildup. :yesnod:

:iagree:
STP Son of a Gun is better than armor all, doen't collect as much dust. But I clean the tires with Bleachy White about every other time I wash it ,that strips off any buildup.

I use Maguires Gold Class Endurance. Comes with an applicator. Last a few weeks. Smells good. Leaves a semi-gloss shine or a gloss shine depending on how you use it.

I use a $1.79 can of silcone spray from Wal Marts on the tires and weather stripping. It's easy and protectes the rubber from drying out.

duragloss foaming tire cleaner here.
spray it on,walk away from it.it dries .
no rags are bending over :)
i spray it up into the wells too, right over the dirt.looks good.
it has a nice pattern to the spray that makes it easy to use without hitting the rims (well not much of em)

I use some stuff made by Eagle..I spray it on an old sponge and apply it that way...no splatter problems...I let it dry overnight and I don't recall it rubbing off on my pants...I don't recall bunking into the tires either though... :D

I use a generic foamer from the dollar store. Works just as good as the armor all foamer. The spray type does nothing for me. You just spray the foam on the wheels and walk away and you've got a good shine for a fair amount of time.

If you don't like the high gloss looks of tire dressings and want the natural nice orignal black look. Just wash your tires with an SOS pad, (yes the same SOS pads that you would use to wash your pots and pans with). They will look like brand new tires when you are finished.

I normally use the foamy no touch stuff, but I've been wanting to try something different. Yesterday, I picked up some Black Magic Tire Wet. It has two application methods, one for high gloss and one for low gloss. I tried the high gloss method of the wife's Jeep and the low gloss on the vette. Both look good.

So far, I like it and would recommend. It smells like cherries, too :jester

.....Black Magic Tire Wet.....I tried the high gloss....
It is recommended that you wipe off the excess from the tire now, rather than from the vette later. Also, if you have read several posts in this thread, the gel just loves jeans. It seems to jump right off the tire, if you get close. Keep a drop cloth handy to cover the tires..........

I use the High Endurance by Meguiar's too. Just don't gob too much of it on there and you won't get tire sling. :nono:

I have also used good old fashion baby oil if you want a nice shiny finish. It is really cheap! And it lasts a while. Doesn't take a lot. Just wipe it on and you are done. If you use a lot, you will sling it off the tires, but with the baby oil, just a touch goes a long way.

I'm a big fan of AP303. Leaves a low gloss, natural rubber look and last from wash to wash. Just spray it on, let it sit and wipe off the excess. The only down side is that it's a little pricey if you buy small quanties. I bought a gallon 1.5 years ago and still have it. I use it on the interior as well.

Turtle Wax Wet n Black. Also use one of those round plastic shields while spraying to keep it off the wheels. I use a 36" x 16" piece of plastic plate with the exact tire footprint cut out of it to keep the overspray off the driveway. That stuff does not wash away!
