Hey everyone, I was looking through the general section and came across 2 posts that caught my eye. The first was about wings, and as I already knew most people here hate them. (not me BTW I have a Greenwood on mine) From how it seems people don't like wings because it's "too rice" and "not pure". Then I came across a post about rims. Again I have aftermarket rims so I'm a bit bias but why is it "OK" to put on rims but not wings? Ricers usually throw on aftermarket rims :jester Not lookin to start a fight but maybe someone can fill me in so I don't lose sleep.
Because rims don't require drilling holes in the car :smash:
Somebody buys my Vette and doesn't like the rims they can always go back to sawblades  but if I drilled holes in my car they are stuck with the wing unless they want to spend big $'s on filling the holes and painting the entire back end of the car.
A buddy of mine is a car salesman and he always says :
"How do you turn a $10,000 trade-in into a $5,000 trade in?
Most folks on here either use the C5 rims or the ZR1 or GS rims which are all Corvette friendly. The other popular ones are the Fisks. These all look good. I haven't put on aftermarket wheels becasue I love the way the sawblades look and they're paid for ! :D
