PERFORMANCE CHIPS!
Hi, I was told when I bought my car that It had a Hypertech Stage I chip in it. I got the car a year ago. Well, I found out today that it has the standard PROM.... :mad :mad :mad :mad :nonod: :nonod: :nonod: :nonod:
Where can I find a good chip? I dont want hypertech, when Ithought I had it, I was fine with it...lloll!
I found some custom chips on Ebay, guy says he makes em for TPI Corvettes. They are only like 30-60 dollars.
Im not looking to invest alot in a chip here. I want the car to be faster on launches, and possibly a higher top end, just in case I need it...lol
Im not worried about Fuel Economy though, because the chips only work at WOT, and at WOT there is no fuel economy... :lol:

A chip really won't do anything for a stock motor. You can have the chip programmed to turn on the fan sooner, and play with the spark tables a little, but that's about it. Not worth the money for a stocker. :cheers:
