For those of you that have replaced your door window weather stripping, I found that they were held in place by pop rivets. So I drilled them out to remove the old strips.
Question: Are there automotive interior sheet metal screws I can use to replace the rivets or am I going to have to re- pop rivet the new ones on?
Also, kind of tuff to clip the new strips in as the window gets in the way.
I think a pop rivet gun is $12 at Autozone...worth it because I have used it numerous times since. You can loosen the bumpers on the door(the ones that hold the window against the seal) and it hould free up enough to work on it. It will still be tight but it should help. Have fun1
