What's the difference?
Between the TPS available through Mid America for about $60 and the TPS available through Advance Auto Parts for $30?
Is there any real mechanical difference?

Mid America is most likely AC Delco, where Advanced is something like Wells or Tomco. You are paying twice the price to get AC Delco on the package. If it is Tomco that Advanced is selling, get that. Tomco makes great parts. When I worked for Discount Auto Parts (now part of Advanced), I never had one come back bad.
