I just picked up my first Corvette last week, a white 95 C4. I'm already loving it. Driving the Honda Civic Hybrid just isn't the same anymore. :-)
I am wondering what I should use to keep it in mint condition? What do you guys recommend for a cleaning/waxing regimine? Its not (unfortunately) going to be garaged, so I imagine I'll need to do a waxing frequently.
Welcome to the Forum and congrats on your new Vette. I understand how even the old "hot rod" doesn't quite seem the same as the Vette.
You will get quite a varitety of answers on car care as there are a number of good products on the market.
I use Maguires top-of-the line products on my Vette and have also tried several others. Many like Zaino products for a deep shine on dark & red cars.
For under hood (rubber, plastic and such) I like Armorall and Formula 2001. To prevent a dust gathering film, I apply liberally and buff off any excess to a shine.
For leather I prefer Gliptone cleaner & conditioner as they leave the leather supple with that "new car" aroma.
I too must leave my Vette outside so I suggest a California duster to remove light dry dust film and a washing if moisture has attached the dust to the paint.
Mine is a white '95 as well, great cars but you gotta keep 'em clean. Nothing worse than a dirty vette. Use Zaino wax and a car cover since you can't keep her in a garage.
Brian, congratulations and welcome! 95 is a fine year for the LT1  I use Meguiar's products for my interior, and machine polish the exterior (once a year) with Menzerna, then follow up Zaino (5 coats). For a good car shampoo, Zymol makes a fine product. Lets see those photos of your new pride & joy!

Welcome Brian,
I agree with the post reguarding waxing etc. Remember the SUN, although FUN, can be the ultimate killer for paint & interior. Car cover & SHADE, can help alot! Have fun! :hat

If your car isnt already modded, then I will recommend that you leave your car alone if you want to save money. Once you start, you cant stop.
