The trouble with "****"! (funny parts story)
So; I go in the back of my Vette this morning to stow my top away :yesnod: low and behold!...I'v lost another rubber bumper from the rear trim surround :mad
This afternoon I stopped by the Chevy body shop to get a new set (loose ones from the parts floor) FREEBIES!
The clerk at the counter didn't know what I was talking about when I said "rubber bumpers for the rear trim part"
He sat a minute then with a suprized look on his face he said "****..you need the rubber ****!"
"Yes" I said :yesnod: The clerk got up and walked to the back office and came out with a hand full of them! :thumbs:
"I need two" I said :yesnod:
The clerk said "thats the problem with them ****...you can never hang on to them" :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
I laughed as I walked out the door :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
I like free parts :thumbs: :thumbs:
