where are the hiding places on an 89 vert for the build sheets?? i swear i have disassembled this entire car during paint work/interior work...the only one i found was above the gas tank and pretty much destroyed  my other gm cars usally had 3 hidden in them..one being above the headliner not an option here :D
any ideas or better yet anyone find one of thiers??
Only diffence is, many years down the road if you ever have your car juged at a NCRS event, I don't think the repro will bring as many points as the original. If you want the original now is the time to grab it, I have seen many C3 build sheets that were useless(unreadable) after 10 years or so...
There is one in the drivers side frame rail up by the PS reservoir. You have to look into a very small hole to see it and from what I understand it is a real bitch to get out. I left mine in there for the next owner. :D
I'll see if I can find a pic of this location for you.

I got mine out from the passenger side frame rail in the engine compartment, through a very small hole. Came out in about 20 or so pieces. Taped it all to gether and made a photo copy of it.
My 90 builld sheet is on top of the gas tank. If there are any more I will find them this winter, everything is coming out of the inside. I think someone said they found one inside the frame behind one of the front wheels, don't remember exactly, but i think the post was on this forum.
well inside the frame rails is a new spot i have not heard...i have had evereything out of the interior except carpet.. and doors off and just about everything else as well...LOL ... the one that was on top of my tank was destroyed by water? maybe?? mine will never be a show car just thought it would be neat to have it.. thanks all
Another reason folks with new C5s get museum delivery - they had a copy of my build sheet waiting at one of the stations on the factory floor...
...it does seem like, for C4s on back, Chevrolet didn't understand how important these sheets can end up being. When I score my C4, I think I'll be content with the NCM replica.
