4+3 shift pattern

4+3 shift pattern
I'm almost embarrassed to ask, but what is the normal procedure of running the gears? Do you run the straight 1-4 and fill in with od as needed or doyou run each gear with the split.

Run in whatever gear suits you and the rev range you like to run in.
I personally like 2nd OD around town where I can boot it and kick down to waste nasty ricers. JMO. :steering:

Then push the button for 5th.
You can push the button in other gears, but I only did if I was cruising. As long as you remember to turn it off before you stop, because as soon as you hit 2nd, it will slam it into OD and bog....
Just experiment and have fun with it....

Around town, it's 1 2 3 4. When I hit the hwy, 50+ mph I clutch it, turn on the overdrive and stay with that, till I'm back down to city, 45mph or less. :yesnod: And do yourself and your OD a favor, clutch going in, and clutch going out. Unless you kick it down to burn ricers :lol:
