Previous 1995 LT1 factory stock, had 105000 miles and ran great, no weird noises and no burning oil, but a couple slow leaks.
Current 1995 LT1 factory stock has 58000 miles and runs very strong, no noises, no leaks, no burning oil, just a super running engine. A recent 1500-mile road trip averaged 27.5 MPG. Fantastic. I push it maybe 3-4 times per month, not abuse just a few good highway pulls. With regular maintenance, and aside from any catastrophic failure, I should get 200000+ miles no problem. Oil changes are obvious but I think keeping these engines cool (relatively speaking since LT1 runs hot) is also very important to longevity. Probably helpful too would be running proper octane fuel and not cheaping out on 87 or 89 LOL
